Beautiful day and excellent turn out for Commodore’s Cup. 15 boats racing. The wind was light from the south. The weather held out for a delightful BBQ on the upper deck.
All Club Lasers and 420s were in use in a fleet that included a Tasar, a scow, ten Lasers and three 420’s. The race committe –, Commodore Jan, David and Judie — did an excellent job running five races. Scoring was based on the best four results for each skipper.

This is the day that we pull the boats out of the clubhouse, set them out on the yard, clean up the club houses, tidy up the property, lower the docks, and do all else to get the club ready for the season.
Many hands make light work! All members strongly encouraged to participate.
A BBQ lunch is served. There is often a board meeting so organize upcoming events.
We had some nice breezes and some softer winds, mostly from the west for our keel boat races. Dinghy sailors also ran practice races. Evening conditions were perfect for a classic FSC potluck BBQ on the upper deck.
