Winds went from light in the morning to very strong and “interesting” in the afternoon. Very impressive when two of the trainees brought their 420 in succesfully when the wind was at its peak.

Students from Falcon High School came every afternoon to learn to sail.
Claire Holliday and Colette Pellerin were the instructors, and we had the MSA Zests as training boats. The students were very keen and enthusiastic. The weather, however was not very cooperative; the wind blew hard all week, with rain showers and thunder showers rolling through.
Claire reports:
We were able to get out on the water every day – including some capsize practice! All participants received their iCANSail level and will be able to continue their sailing at the CANSail 1 level if they choose to. They had some challenging winds to keep up with and all did very well.
