In 2025, FSC is planning a variety of learn to sail courses in July. Our online booking system will be available at:
All our courses are booked on a first-come, first-serve basis. If your name is on a wait list we will contact you when a spot becomes available.
Because our boats and instructors are booked in advance, all registration fees are nonrefundable.

Youth Learn-To-Sail in July
Half-day sailing lessons for youth with Sail Canada and Manitoba certified coaches. Maximum six youth per session. Cost: $230
July 7-11
- Beginner – Monday to Friday (9am to noon) – Youth ages 8-14 will get an introduction, or refresher course, to the sport of sailing in Optimist dinghies.
- Intermediate- Monday to Friday (1pm to 4pm) – Youth ages 12+ will develop their sailing skills in single and/or double-handed boats.
July 21-25
- Beginner – Monday to Friday (9am to noon) – Youth ages 8-14 will get an introduction, or refresher course, to the sport of sailing in Optimist dinghies.

Adult learn to sail weekend
Saturday July 12 – Sunday July 13, 2025
Sailing instruction 9:00am to 4:00pm, Saturday and Sunday, with a Sail Canada and Manitoba certified coach. For anyone 16+ wanting to learn to sail or to improve their sailing skills. Cost includes two full days of instruction in the stable, two-person Zest sailboat. Maximum enrolment is eight. The course will proceed if there is sufficient interest. $279
Sail on in the Summer
All 2025 Learn to Sail participants in any of the above programs are eligible for a half price introductory family membership in the Falcon Sailing Club for the balance of the season. Members may use the Club facilities and sail boats.
